So this just happened.  A baby raccoon up a tree in my backyard.  Too cute.  And yes, that’s a baby.  How big do the adults get?  You don’t want to know.  We once found our full garbage bin (which is really heavy and closed with bungee cord so that raccoons can’t get into it) around 500 yards from the place it usually is.  Basically, Hulk!raccoon didn’t like that it couldn’t open the bin because of the bungee cord and so decided to express its displeasure by picking it up, carrying it 500 yards, and chucking it into a ditch.
